Lattafa Mussamam is one of the Dubai house's more deliberately constructed orientals, a composition where every element earns its place. Launched in 2022, it opens with a striking combination of saffron and lavender, warm and aromatic at the same time, before cedar begins to shape the mid-stage into something structured and refined. Incense deepens the base with a meditative, resinous drydown that settles into skin with quiet authority and holds for well into the evening. Mussamam, meaning "designed with intention" in Arabic, lives up to its name across autumn and winter evenings. Wear it to a formal dinner, a cultural gathering, or anywhere the occasion calls for something with gravitas and presence. The incense-cedar base particularly rewards cooler temperatures, where the resinous character intensifies without becoming heavy.
